Originally designed by Arne Jacobsen in collaboration with Dr E. Snoranos in 1955 to provide improved lumbar support, this set of six teak bent wood chairs offer style and comfort in a small footprint. This set was manufactured by Fritz Hansen/Denmark in 1967.
The eye-catching work of the Danish architect and designer Arne Jacobsen often introduces new collectors to mid-20th century furniture. With their fluid lines and sculptural presence, Jacobsen’s iconic chairs portray the design aesthetic of the era and his attention to practicality and comfort.
Each chair retains the original hardware (spacers, feet, and caps) and are branded with the Danish Control and Fritz Hansen markings.
